Shannon
specializes in portraits of infants and young children, with an emphasis
on outdoor settings. Outside of portraiture, Shannon's work and
interests have enabled her to travel to various places around the world;
from the hill tribes of Thailand, to the edge of the Arctic Circle. Future
photographic projects include documentary work in the townships of South
Africa. Shannon is an associate member of the Texas Professional Photography
Association.
As a mother myself, I understand the joy and importance of capturing a child’s personality in photographs. After all, photographs are keepsakes and visual memories of a child’s development and discovery.
Realizing that new and/or growing families often operate on a tighter budget, I offer unique black and white portraits at an affordable price. As well, I recognize that having portraits made can sometimes be a stressful outing for both child and parent. To help, I offer the option of an in-home newborn or infant session.
Regardless of sitting type, I seek to reflect the moods and expressions of everyday life and play in my work. What’s more, I guarantee that you will be satisfied with your previews or I will re-shoot your session free of charge.
